Mark Naguib BVMS(Hons) CertAVP(ZooMed) MRCVS
RCVS Advanced Practitioner in Zoological Medicine
Mark qualified from Glasgow in 2009 and joined Battle Flatts a
year later, based at our Stamford Bridge surgery. As well as
treating dogs and cats, he has a keen interest in "exotic" animals. Mark holds the RCVS Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice in the field
of Zoological Medicine and has experience treating over 200 species of birds, reptiles, amphibians, fish
and exotic mammals.
In 2014 he was awarded the RCVS Advanced Practitioner in
Zoological Medicine Status. This status is awarded to vets who have not only undertaken further
study and passed exams in a particular area of veterinary work (in Mark’s case reptiles, birds
and other so-called ‘exotic’ animals), but have also confirmed that they continue keep up to
date with all the latest developments in their field.
Kyle Perrin BVSc MRCVS
Kyle graduated from the University of Pretoria in South Africa in
2006 with a BVSc in veterinary medicine. Kyle has been in the UK
since 2011, before that he spent time in Dubai and South Africa
working in practices that treated mainly exotic species. He joins
us to assist Mark with the treatment of our expanding exotic
animal client base and to run our branch surgery in Strensall. His
interests outside of work are mainly out door activities including
hiking, camping, diving and birding. Since moving to the UK he has
been able to enjoy all these activities, in all kinds of weather.
Except the diving, the water is too cold for him. He have always
been interested in falconry and has tried, where and when,
possible to be involved and learn as much as possible from other
falconers in South Africa, Dubai and the UK.
Hannah Willcocks BVMS MRCVS
graduated from Glasgow Veterinary School in 2014, joining us at
Battle Flatts in October. Her interests are in both small animal
and equine and she will be working mainly out of Stamford Bridge
and Pocklington. In 2013 she spent a month in Morocco at a charity
hospital caring for the working donkeys, mules and horses of Fez.
She is interested in equine internal medicine and wound management
and developing her small animal surgery skills. In her spare time
she enjoys walking her Jack Russell Terriers, keeping fit at the
gym and cooking and baking for her family. She also loves
travelling, having previously been lucky enough to have backpacked
around Asia and worked with a wildlife vet in South Africa.
